New vintage flowers to Fertile Thoughts... I am a 28 yr old male and DW (who is 26) and I have been trying for over two years now. She has PCOS and her old Doctor made us try for a year before prescribing her for 6 regimins of clomid. She never tested me. DW ovulated every month like normal and every month we were heart broken by a neg test. Finally I was tested and found out that I have a very low sperm count. Also she was diagnosed as having a uterine polyp that needed removing. She switched to another OB after several frustrations with the old one. After having the polyp removed two months ago she has ovulated on her own twice! the Dr. made me redo my test hoping that the first one was just a fluke. It wasn't. It came back with the following. Volume: 3.6 ml (which the Dr. said is normal), concentration 0.8 million/ml (which vintage flowers I know is extremely low), and Total Motile: 1.44 million/ml (which I am not sure what that means). I have now visited a urologist who told me there was nothing structurally wrong and prescribed Clomid for me because my testosterone levels are on the low range of normal. After these two years I want to do whatever I can to bring these levels up to end the heart ache for us both. I know we are young, it just seems like the deck is stacked against us. Does anyone have any suggestions for any supplements I can add to me taking clomid vintage flowers every other day?
Hi DH. There is a good chance that your issue is just from low testosterone. The Clomid will probably improve this to the point where your sperm count becomes reasonable. There are any number of male fertility supplements out on the market that claim to increase sperm count -- I cannot vouch for any of them personally, but this forum is full of testimonials vintage flowers from women and men who believe one type or another did the trick for them. As to what your result meant, it's just a math thing. You had 800,000 per milileter. Some of those would be dead or so close to it that they are unable to be counted towards the total. This would be defined by the motility %. So mathematically, the 1.4 million is how many you had that were "alive enough" to do the deed out of your total sample. Total contained: 2.88 million Total motile: 1.44 million This is a result of 50% motility, which is quite fine and natural. I think you and your wife are on the right track here. It will take about 3 months from the time you begin taking any supplement (or Clomid) until you see results. PCOS is not insignificant either and when you begin again (and you should be doing IUIs for as long as your count remains under normal standards), she should be doing monitored cycles to make sure she is indeed ovulating. Good luck!
Thanks for the response. We haven't done any IUIs yet because we want to conceive naturally. We are both young and are just not ready to go down that road yet. I should also add though that in the last 3 years or so I have lost over 80 lbs and am now at an ideal weight. The Urologist thought that my low testosterone could have been caused by my obesity. Any thoughts to this? Has anyone heard of a count being so low and getting back to normal? Thanks again!
Hi DH, I am also relatively new to this site and MFI, so just wanted vintage flowers to introduce myself. I am hoping Impatient is right and you just need to raise your T levels, which is what I am hoping does the trick for my DH also. He gave a "less than 2m" count. He's been on Fertilaid for some time, and did take DHEA for a few months, at which time he did get me pg twice (although ended in m/c). He's on Fertilaid and CountBoost by Fairhaven Health now, and also on green/wheatgrass supplements and eating a lot of lean proteins, fruits and veggies, and he did stop smoking vintage flowers a couple vintage flowers of months ago, which I am also hoping vintage flowers helps things. Keep us updated on how the Clomid works! Great job on the weight loss also. That is only going to help in every way, in my opinion.
I have been on Clomid for about a week now and over the past two days I have noticed vintage flowers I am basically an emotional roller coaster. I am usually pretty even keeled (though I have been known to be emotional at times...ok I admit I wear my emotions on my sleeve) but the past two days I have gone from happy, to sad, to angry and aggresive in the span of an hour. I didn't think Clomid was supposed to do this for a guy! Oh well hopefully I can get through this part and hopefully it evens out over time... I have three months to go before my next SA. Lola, Good luck to you and your DH!
DH, I actually took Clomid myself for 3 months before we decided to see if it was my DH, because nothing was happening (and I was actually ovulating on my own, my doc just decided to try the lowest dose for 3 months and see if it helped), vintage flowers and I was a NIGHTMARE on it. I would break out in huge sweats also. My mom would laugh and say, "Now you know how I feel!" (menopause) So, you take it every day, yea? I will be keeping fingers crossed that it changes y
