Your Facebook friends, Twitter followers, your Instagram fans balmy all attention, a life, a retweet ... We seek the attention, the likes of people we do not even know. We see the problem, but assumed it was just the way things are currently done.
The quest for constant attention is a human problem. How can we sift through all the noise and clearly see and hear? More importantly, how can we avoid that we are part of the noise? We must change our thinking. How? Make a difference instead of a point. Jesus did many miracles - which could be headlines in the newspapers. Afterwards he gave specific orders often to those he had healed. In Matthew weddingstyle 9, we read of the healing of two blind men. Then Jesus ordered them, these have no one to hear. To change the course of someone's life, and to keep it quiet, is the exact opposite of what we normally do. Jesus does not seek attention, he wanted to make an impact on people in need. He never mass healings. He does everything in his power to ensure that he is seen as someone who touched people's lives. We try so hard to focus the attention on ourselves. When Jesus taught his disciples how to pray, he said to them: But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who can not see. Your Father who sees in secret, will reward weddingstyle you (Matthew 6: 6). If you do a good deed and you tell everyone it is this propaganda, and not selfless service. It is to your advantage - other sees you. You are not going to make a difference, but a point. weddingstyle Change your attitude. We can live with clenched fists (= a desire to control) or with open hands (= the heart of a servant). Open hands mean a faith in which we are constantly asking, "What now, Father?" If you're living with clenched fists, you want to be noticed. Micah captures man's struggle for certain: One, the Lord has told you what is good: He asks of you, that you act justly, to love mercy, that walk humbly with your God (6: 8). By Micah, God said to the people: Open your hands and follow me.
This tension between attention and willingness to serve others, we see in our everyday weddingstyle life. A wise man once said: "What weddingstyle about the stage takes place is always more important than what happens on stage." To become weddingstyle considered by many to be unimportant if the people before you feel that you do not recognize. There is nothing wrong if people do not see you, except when it is more important to you than to serve the people in front of you.
